I guess I'm one of the few people here, if any, that's kind of kept my journal up since I made it. But then, I haven't updated it in like 3 or 4 weeks. :O

This one's not too old, but I do ramble in it (like everything else I type):
<blockquote>I went to Gamestop in Albemarle earlier today hoping to find something interesting for my PC. Sadly, it's the very same at this GS as it is in Asheboro. A pathetic six-foot wide, five-foot tall rack... bastards. <_<

After browsing their "great" PC selection, I decided to go scope out the Nintendo DS section since that's the closest thing to a current-gen system I own. Found Final Fantasy IV and decided to drop $40 for it. I downloaded a ROM of it to play on the Super Nintendo emulator, only it was FF2 and not 4....North America must not have got the second or third FF so they just renamed FF4 FF2 over here....like they did FF6 as FF3....I dunno. -shrug- I'm liking the game though. Barely over an hour into it and what slight fraction of the storyline I've seen has really got my curiosity stirred up. It's a pretty neat transformation from the old 2-D to 3-D with the detailed "Advent Children-ish" cut-scenes. Gameplay graphics remind me a lot of FF7 on the original Playstation. I like how they put voice-overs in the cut-scenes as well.

Since we're on the wonderful topic of video games, I almost forgot to mention that my Conker's Bad Fur Day cartridge came in today. Bought it off of eBay from a seller in Florida. Had to clean the copper connectors at the bottom of the cartridge with a Q-tip and some rubbing alcohol. It wouldn't load up when I flipped the switch before I cleaned it. But, it works now, and I'm pleased overall with it....and I've about died laughing while playing it. This game is probably one of the funniest, most brilliant games ever made. If you haven't played it, seriously...you've been deprived of a true gem. =(</blockquote>

Ahh man, now here's a blast from the past (Aug. 24, 2006):
<blockquote>Dontcha just hate it when you walk in a restaurant and you wait to be seated, then when they seat you and take your order, someone else comes in about say, 10 or 15 minutes after you did, and then they are seated and their order gets taken and then you wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and THEN, they get their order before you do despite the fact that they ordered maybe 10 - 15 minutes after you did? Then you wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait and THEN you get pissed and leave? Yeah, I don't like that too much. But I can't exactly remember the last time it happened. Long time ago. Just something that popped up in my mind all of a sudden. =o

You know something? I should clean my guns and take 'em out sometime and just have fun with them. I haven't shot not a one of them in almost a year. ;_;

And....it's my birthday! WOO!</blockquote>

This was such a happy day for me (26 June 2006 @ 02:01 am):
<blockquote>Well, tonight was my last night working at Ryan's. I can't exactly say that I'll miss the headache of dealing with a lot of ungrateful customers and apathetic waitresses and co-workers, but I will miss a few of my co-workers (ones that ACTUALLY pulled their own weight and did what they were supposed to do) and my bosses. Heh, they made me work hard on my last night too. Two buses came in loaded with 198 or so people, but strangely, they didn't eat up everything in sight within ten seconds like a crowd that size usually does. They must not've been too hungry. The problem was that I wasn't allowed to break the bars down until everyone left, and they stayed there for a right good while. Ryan's closes at 9:30 on Sunday thru Thursday. These folks came in about 9:15 or so, and pretty much just socialized. Yeah, it was nerve-racking, but hey, I was getting paid to be there, at least. =D

So, as far as another job goes, I'm gonna have the lady at school re-do my resume for me first of all. Once school finishes, then I'll start staying up in Troy permenately, but I plan on taking a breather before finding another job. Ryan's kinda burned me out a bit. @_@

I kinda want to get back into GFX and guitar, and not to mention that there are a few lakes up there to go fishing in too. I haven't fished in such a long time. I miss it dearly. And they also have a shooting range up there too if I'm not mistaken. >=3 I haven't shot the guns in about 6 or 7 months either. I really need to get back in touch with my inner outdoorsman. ^^; City life is alright, but I'd much rather live out in the country. More space, less hustle and bustle, less people, much more splender surrounding you, and you can legally do things out there that would get you arrested within city limits (4-wheeler riding, shooting guns, burning junk, etc. etc.). Is it boring? Yeah, but hell, city life ain't no different in that aspect, IMHO. :/ Just about everyone I talk to on MSN that lives in a city says "Nothing much." whenever I ask them what's up. I'm looking forward to it to say the least. I've missed the country. It's where my roots lie. And oh man, I can't wait for autumn to come! Troy is mostly rolling hills, and there is this awesome view along the road that I'll be living on where you can see a whole ton of hills and small mountains off in the distance. I must take pictures when it comes around. It will be spectacular I'm sure. ^^ (please pardon my nature freak-ness)</blockquote>
Damn....hippie much? x3

I can't hardly believe how I used to type three years ago. Thankfully I didn't do hardcore "txt tlk", but I definitely didn't believe in capitalization either. It's interesting to look back and see how you and your habits evolve over time (provided that they actually DO evolve, that is). :O

Of course yours isn't as bad as mine, I bet you weren't 13 when you posted that! But I wouldn't know since there's no dates. (And I don't feel like stalking your LJ)
Lol @ shruggles. You've always been too cute for a guy.
This is not LJ related, but it is sort of nostalgic.

Oh snap! I tried to do this maybe half a year ago but I couldn't for the life of me remember my LJ name. SO HEY THANKS DEANN!

And hooooly hell I've got a ton of entries.

<blockquote>Yay this is my first entry. I feel so accomplised, just like my little mood thingy says. ^_^ Well Jaime showed me her online journal thingy, so I felt like making one! I'm chatting w/ her right now and her mom just called her and Chris(tine) slobs. I thought it was kinda funny. *cough*

Anyways nothing to eventful happened today. An ice storm rolled through this morning and everything ish so purdy. =^.^= We're suppose to get more tonight, so I'm praying that we'll get out of school tomorrow. But I highly doubt that. Also I hope we don't crash tomorrow on the way to school and what not. Go us.

Lets see. I haven't really done much today. Woke up (8 AM), got online, worked on my forum, Jaime got on, talked to her, then ate breakfast, got back online, chatted w/ Logan, Jaime, and Terra. That was fun. Me and Jaime fooled Jim about something. But no one must know XD. Then I got into a chat w/ Terra about dreams which was really neato. She had a dream about losing a close friend and she woke up crying, which was really sad. I had one of those annoying falling dreams. So annoying to wake up from. *pictures himself waking up w/ arms flailing* =.=

Anyways thats about all thats happened today. Jaime's telling me to make her my friend on here so I guess I'll do that. Isn't she cute when she order's people around? *coughBRADSWHIPPEDcough* excuse me. ^_^</blockquote>

Not as bad as yours, but still embarassing x3 This one on the other hand.. EXTREMELY EMBARASSING

<blockquote>Kya~ I'm at school now. Programming class :3
Ms. Hall isn't here. She's stuck in texas *points and laughs*

*looks to the left*
Bradwee is filling out that survey thing I did early for his journal. He's thinking aloud too. *snickers* FWaaahahhahahahahha....

I notice that I've been acting really girlish lately. *shruggles*</blockquote>

Also I've been reading my LJ for the past few hours. MAKE IT STOP D=
