Yesterday was…kind of boring. There’s really not much that can be said about being couped up in the house when one has no money to go out and do anything. The internet’s not being up didn’t really help out too much either. But, I’ll spare you the details of that. So, in an attempt to find something to keep me sane, I decided to pull down the ol’ Outlaw Star box set from the bookshelf and play it on my comp. Watched the first six or seven episodes. It was kind of refreshing in a way. Could be because I haven’t watched it (or any other anime much for that matter) in about a good solid year or better. It’s got me wanting to finish off all my other collections. I’ve probably got over $600 – $700 dollars-worth of DVDs I accumulated throughout high school, and strangely enough, Outlaw Star and Azu-Manga Daiho are the only two I have complete box sets of.

Well, I plan on watching the whole series through, and as soon as I’m able, I’ll go try to find the Cowboy Bebop box set or some other classic series from either the 90s or early 2000s. I guess for now let’s just say I want to finish off the classics in my collection. Maybe I’ll branch out and look at some newer stuff along the way. I’ll pay attention to the previews. xP

Sometimes I really wish I wasn’t so anal about buying DVDs, but personally, I like having the option of switching between languages and subtitles. Plus it just wouldn’t set right with me if I downloaded a whole series and I already have like the first couple of DVDs for it sitting on my shelf. Then I have the whole “fair-usage/throttling down the speed” thing to deal with with this connection anyway, so…yeah. <.< Damn me and my inner collector. Dx

So yeah, if I don’t get to post anymore between now and Thursday, then lemme go ahead and wish you guys a Merry Christmas! Hopefully Santa’s gonna be good to ya this year, eh? x3
