Computer Woes
Looks like my parts are all deciding to go kaput on me all at once. First I start having monitor troubles either from my mobo or my video card and now my main hard drive just died. At least it wasn’t one of my data drives with all my stuff on it. But still it was my nice 10000 rpm Raptor. Guess five years of working it pretty hard finally took it’s toll. So today I had to run out and get a new harddrive and the cheapest I could find was a 320 gb for a hundred bucks. Sorta pissed that I couldn’t find a smaller one but I need my computer so I had to suck it up. So I’m going through the process of reinstalling everything and it’s a major pain. Gotta find a way to streamline it. I also gotta figure out what the hell is up with my video card and/or mobo and/or monitor. Ugh.

I’ve been having some trouble with mine as well. I kicked Vista off about a month ago and went back to XP, and most of my good games glitch up and have very choppy animation. I tried updating my mobo drivers, but it keeps telling me to uninstall the older drivers first and then says “Access Denied.” About makes me want to nuke the hard drive completely and put Vista back on. =/

Yikes man. That’s one of the reasons I don’t wanna go back to XP. Don’t gotta worry about drivers as much which makes reinstalling Vista it a cinch.
