My titles are so amazing that I just amaze myself! Stupid titles aside picked up two new shows that I’m becoming fairly interested in. If you can’t decifer from the title, they’re USA’s Burn Notice and SciFi’s Eureka.

They’re both more or less similar. In each episode, the characters are presented with a problem. Then using their special skills they solve their problems by means of a unique solution. With Burn Notice they use tactical espionage, social engineering, and other spyish stuff. In Eureka, they use science! Sure most of the stuff goes way over my head but watching it makes you feel real smart. Fun stuff.

The characters in Burn Notice are pretty interesting. Main character and his ex-girlfriend are pretty badass. But for me the main star is, of course, Bruce Campbell. Sure it may be because I idolize the guy, but still he’s a good fit for the role. He’s also pretty much the reason I became interested in the show as well.

Eureka’s characters are sorta hit and miss. Jack, Henry, and Stark are all top notch. The others are more or less fun filler till they appear again. Also I feel that things sort of go downhill in the second season. Feels like there’s no real direction they’re heading. Course it picks up toward the end so well have to wait till season 3 for me to really judge if Im gonna keep watching.

And OMGF Super Mario RPG was just released for the Virtual Console. Must. Buy.
