Last day of summer break
S’right. My classes begin tomorrow. Aside from the inevitable long wait in the bookstore, I’m looking forward to it. I’ll be taking General Chemistry, Trigonometry, Internet Multimedia and British Literature. I’m looking forward to chemistry and internet multimedia the most, followed closely by British lit. Math has me a bit nervous, but it’s all a matter of making myself sit down and do it. I’ll be signing up for a tutor in that class as well. If it wasn’t for tutoring, I’d probably still be in the remedial math courses.
So when do you guys get started back and what are you taking?
Carlo says:
Ew I hated trig back when I took it =x I’d say it’s the most boring of all math classes. Probably shouldn’t have said that though since you’re taking it <<; God speed =D;
All the other stuff sounds pretty neat :3 What exactly is Internet Mulimedia about? o=
My classes start on the 9th so I’ve still got a few weeks. Really not looking forward to the trip down there =P Anyway good luck to you bro!

Mine started today as well.
Taking:
Intermediate Algebra -
Shut it i r bad at maths
Public Speaking -
Required course, I’m actually good at public speaking.
Middle Eastern Culture and Peoples -
Only 7 people in this class! :O It’s so cool, plus the teacher’s major is Chinese/Japanese history! And she speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, and Japanese.
Intro to Cultural Anthropology-
Should be fun.
Intro to Sociological Theory -
This was a class, but now it’s a two on one between me, another student, and the Professor due to lack of students in the class. Pretty hands on learning which is awesome!

@ Carlo: Well, I’m sure I’ll have days where I’ll wanna shoot myself because of trig, but I’ll try to look at it differently…if possible. xD; As for internet multimedia, I think that’s like a combination of graphics, video, etc. Stuff that you can create to zazz up webpages…although I may be way off. I’ll know more on Thursday. =O Hope you have a safe trip down when the time comes. :3
@ Rob: No worries on the math part (I started at the very bottom of the math totem pole myself). Sometimes I kinda consider taking public speaking…but dang if my voice doesn’t break when I speak to people. Dx That Middle Eastern culture class sounds like it will be interesting…and the Chinese/Japanese speaking is always a plus! Good luck to you on all your classes! ;D
