So yeah. Sorry ’bout ducking out again guys. Had an unexpected string of relatives over for the past month. First had my grand aunt (mother’s side) over for two weeks then my aunt (father’s side) came over for two more weeks. When my other aunt heard her sister was going to be here, she decided she’d spend some time here as well. Sorta of a hectic few weeks. Had to entertain out the wazzoo and there was a ton of cooking involved. I had to have gained ten pounds eating all the special dishes we had to make. My last relative is heading home tomorrow. Looking forward to some nice down time before I head back to school first week of September.

Though this whole experience wasn’t entirely a downer. One of my aunts learned that I was a “genius with computers” and had built my own rig. So she asked if I’d build her one. And so I was able to build a new rig which I’ve been wanting to do for some time now. Made theirs pretty future proof too. Gave them the new Intel 45nm Core 2 Duo chip, a 8600 GT, and 2 gb of ram. Considering their own PC was from 1998 this’ll be a very nice upgrade for them. Was also able to get a 750gb HDD out of it too which I was desperately needing (though I’m 200gb’s away from filling it up now <<;)

'nother good thing that happened recently was I got myself an Xbox 360! Horray! Got a 20gb when they got discounted 50 bucks to make way for the 60gb. Hopefully the samme HDD size won't bite me in the future. Also got a ton of games. Haven't even had a chance to play all of them too. Have to say I'm extremely satisfied with it. I'm just hoping my won't RRoD =x Sadly though my Wii hasn't been touched in ages. The glamour of SSBB has worn off and I don't feel like doing anything with it at the moment. And there aren't any big games coming out that I'm looking forward to which really annoys me. Ah well hopefully my investment won't go to waste come 2009.
