New website project
A few days ago, I got cracking on my Russian website. I kinda just started over again from scratch and scrapped the old project. Instead of trying to create the content and design at once, I’m gonna try to focus on content first and then work on design after I’ve typed out all my sections and examples and whatnot. Sketched out a basic layout on a piece of paper and I’m gonna try to shoot for that. Might also sketch out some other layouts too and decide on one. My biggest worry with the thing is the graphics. Sadly, I’m not as creative as I wish I was, and I usually go with a minimalistic kind of approach when it comes to banners. Not saying that going simple isn’t a bad thing (actually in a lot of cases is a great way to go), but I’d really like to learn a few more actually a lot more things about Photoshop and try to do something a little different, but I always take the same steps in everything I make. My next big worry is trying to figure out a name for this damn thing. I couldn’t come up with a catchy name if my life depended on it. I’ll just worry what that last I guess. Maybe something’ll hit me as I type my sections or do the GFX. If anything, I can always look in my dictionary and look for some words or something.
And that’s all for now. =o
