I had been hearing that HDD wasn't doing so good, but wasn't aware that it completely lost. Glad I didn't go out and buy a player for it. x3 I guess it will be interesting to see how BR seeps into the mainstream. I remember when DVDs were new, I had to wait for a looong time before I could buy a player for 'em. But then, I didn't have a steady-paying job at the time either. If BR players can come down to around maybe $250 - $400, then maybe I'll pick one up eventually. =o Haha…me and Carlo got into a discussion about this last night. I wanted HD-DVD to win though I've got no concrete reason why. Just seemed like the better format despite being smaller in size. So yeah I'm a little sad to see it go, but hey that's the way the ball bounces. And thankfully I didn't have the money to actually buy a HD-DVD player and movies. I feel sorry for all those that did. I'm looking forward to see how Blu-ray is going to evolve over the coming decade. It's always fun to see a new format being slowly accepted by the mass public. I was there when DVD was up and coming, but was still too young to really get what was going on. So I'm gonna have fun seeing Blu-ray work it's way into the mainstream.
