Wha-hey haven’t made a post about me in a while and hey, I’m sure ya’ll missed ‘em! So yeah in this post I’ll go over various things that’s been going on, hence the title. First off we’ll start with school! Almost done with my second trimester. Had a fairly decent term with two A+’s and two B+’s. The B’s pissed me off cause I had a 4.0 the first term and those brought me down to a 3.83. A 3.83!! I’m so ashamed. Well least I’m still on the Dean’s List. Next term I’ve got academics [ ie career management, life science, english comp, math, and sanitation ] Looking forward to a change of pace since I’ve had two terms of culinary labs. Get back into the real university setting, well as real as it gets here at Johnson and Wales. I’ve got all morning labs which I’m happy about. And no long ass breaks in between classes either. Got lucky when I scheduled so I’m happy.

Also I’m starting to get the feeling that I’ll most likely go into Food Science after I get my associates degree. Looked into various universities that had a food science degree and University of Kentucky has a fairly nice one which would be kinda nice since it’s in my hometown. But then again jobs around there suck. Purdue also has a nice program and it’d be fun to reture there. I could also go back into engineering, but instead of computer/electical I could do chemical since it ties closely to food science. But again there’s not much job selection around there. So I’ll either have to bite the bullet or find something else.

Onto my next set, anime! This time I’ll just do a very basic sum up instead of a long ass post like last time. Nodame Cantible – hella awesome, hella cute, great music, and some great semi-romance. Must see. Myself Yourself – Starts out hella cute, gets hella serious, totally awesome nonetheless. Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun – sorta interesting at first, sorta cute, fairly boring. Genshiken [ first season, ova, and second season ] – slow at the beginning but once you get used to the pace it turns into something fairly intersting. Fun watch. Ichigo Mashimaro - Hella cute, hella cute, and did I say hella cute? Must see just for the loli.

Next up gaming! Bought two games last weekend, Lost Odyssey for the Xbox 360 and Professor Layton and the Curious Village for the DS. Just finished Prof. Layton last night and it was hella awesome. One of the best puzzle games out there. And this one really really makes you use your noodle. Trust me, you’ll feel stupid many times during the game trying to rack your brain for the answer. Fairly neat story too! So highly recommend it to people with DSs and puzzle lovers. Lost Odyssey is by the same guy that made Final Fantasy and the guy that made the music for FF, so yeah it’s got some pedigree. Overall its a standard JRPG. Great great great story, very nice visuals, but same old gameplay. So if you like JRPGs then get it, but if you’re tired of them this won’t change your mind.
