New AMV project

I want to kick off another AMV project really soon. I want to make something along the lines of Twizted again, only at least try harder to make it better than T2. Also will probably re-name it. But that’s for later.

I don’t exactly have any specific anime in particular I wanna use. I’ll probably use my old DVD collection again. I’m gonna watch a few eps of most of the series I have and kinda go from there. Any suggestions of sound clips from you dudes would be welcome (stuff from certain movies, cartoons, music, etc.). Also feel free to provide links to them if you happen to come across any. ;3

I’m trying to set up CamStudio on my PC where it can record audio along with the video, but it’s not cooperating ATM. I kind of want to use the Tourettes Guy. xD

I’ll get back to you guys on this later. Feel free to give suggestions, but try keep the files relatively low-sized. Downloading isn’t my connection’s forte, unfortunately. D=

You should definitely get some video from ecchi anime o= I think those’d be fun to dub over :3 Though I don’t really know how you’d obtain them since you won’t be able to download them D=

I’ll keep an eye out for it if I have any in my DVDs =o

I’ve already started laying down some audio clips. I’m gonna try to make more short and sweet length scenes in this vid. Seems like if they get too long they feel kind of forced. For now I’ll focus on piecing my audio together and worry about video later. Might be a little bit easier that way.

Anything from within the last 3 years is pretty fair game. :O

Most harem anime VO pretty well. Also, action animu.

  4. Joey says:

No promises on the being within the last 3 years part. The majority of my collection is classics from back in the 90s and before 05. o=

But, I do have some action titles on my shelf. I’ll keep my eyes peeled. :3

    Enjoy. :D

You forget that his connection is crap o=

The older stuff will work just as well as the new. Besides, as Carlo said (and as I mentioned in the entry) my connection blows. I don’t particularly feel like thumbing through all these ungodly amounts of episodes either. That’s one reason I haven’t been into it any. Much too time-consuming. It literally takes me about on average 6 or more seconds to pull up a simple webpage. But thanks for the link anyways. =o

Here’s my rather pathetic list of golden oldies:

    Animatrix
    Azumanga Diaho (Entire set)
    Blood: The Last Vampire
    Bastard!!
    Cowboy Bebop DVD #1
    Cowboy Bebop Greatest Sessions
    Cowboy Bebop The Movie
    Hellsing DVDs #1 and 2
    Shura No Toki DVD #1
    Peacemaker DVDs #1 and 2
Saiyuki (first season) DVDs #1, 2, and 3
Inu-Yasha Movie 3: The Sword of World Conquest
    Inu-Yasha DVDs #1, 2 and 5
    Outlaw Star (Entire set)
    Chrono Crusade DVD #1
    Happy Lesson DVD #1
    Galaxy Angel DVD #1
    Love Hina Spring Movie
    Great Teacher Onizuka DVD #1
    Trigun DVD #2
    Chobits DVD #1
Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death and Rebirth
Rurouni Kenshin DVDs #1 and 2
    Rurouni Kenshin: The Motion Picture
    Escaflowne: The Movie
    Gate Keepers 21 (Both DVDs)
    Final Fantasy Unlimited DVD #1
    .hack//SIGN DVD #1
    Gungrave DVD #1
All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku
    BoBoBo-Bo-Bo-BoBo DVD #1
    Excel Saga DVD #1
    Vampire Hunter D (original movie)
    Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust
    Ikki Tousen DVD #1
Silent Mobius Volume #1 (First two DVDs)
    s-CRY-ed DVD #1
    X (series) DVD #1
    Ah My Goddess! DVD #1

As you can plainly see, most of these DVDs are simply the first ones in most of the series, none of which exceed three volumes unless they were an entire set. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to buy entire sets too often back in high school, and I haven’t really taken any time to go and finish off the ones I need to get around to. A few of these anime were kinda…terribly not what I expected and I discontinued buying the rest of the DVDs for them, particularly Galaxy Angel and s-CRY-ed.

So yeah, this is all the stuff I have to work with. Pathetic as it may be, it’s definitely more than enough to get the job done. When I complete the audio, I’ll see if I can upload it and let you dudes listen in and maybe we could go from there with the video synchronization. =o

Oh yeah, and Carlo, me and my bro are gonna see if we can do something with some footage from Maplestory and we may need another person to help act out a part. We haven’t exactly figured out yet what we’re gonna say, but we want to do our own recording for this scene. I’ll hit ya up on MSN sometime. And Rob, you’re welcome to help out with this too if you like. ;3

That list isn’t too bad :o

Also, I’d suggest youtube, veoh, or anijunkie.com, if you want to stream vids without DLing (that way you can actually catch up if you want to :P )

But yeah, I can see a few good scenes from all of those going pretty far.
