Altitudes

Axe players and instrumental lovers rejoice! This song, Altitudes, is from the one and only Jason Becker! It’s got a nice mix of mellow and fast-paced action to it. Becker picked up the guitar at an early age. By his pre-teen years, he was able to yo-yo with his right hand and play the guitar with his left at the same time. He formed a band in the 80s with fellow axeman Marty Friedman called Cacophony. Sometime after Cacophony’s folding, Becker played for David Lee Roth. Unfortunately, in his early twenties, he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. A tragic loss to the guitar, but an inspiration nontheless. Enjoy the song guys. ;3
