Well I’ve been saying that I’d post about my European tour ever since I got back but never really got around to it. Mainly because it was so freakin’ long with so much freakin’ information and I’m really freakin’ lazy. But I finally decided to do it! And it has nothing to do with the fact that I want to try out this new gallery software or that I needed room on my camera phone. Yeah…

Anyway I’m kinda too tired to take a picture of anything during the flight or first day of arrival. It was a fourteen hour flight across the Atlantic I think. Things started out pretty horribly. Due to a delay in our flight, we missed our arrival time and pick up for the tour group. So we ended up waiting in the airport for three hours for our tour guide to arrive again. Really freakin’ boring.

After we get picked up, we go out for lunch. Went to a place called Orgaz [ pronounce Orgath ] and had some awesome food there. Also learned that I’m not allergic to fried egg [ sunny side up ] anymore. Some fried egg came with my fried pork so I said what the hell and tried it. Twas good. We also had some very good chorizo [ Spanish sausage ]. Rest of the family had some calamari which they said was excellent. Damn seafood allergies. After that we Walked around Madrid some. Oh yeah, we’re in Madrid, Spain since I forgot to mention. Lots of people out during the late hours. But there’s no one out during early afternoon. Everyone’s taking siesta. After wandering around till 11 pm, went back to the hotel and hit the hay.

Next morning we went on a side-tour to the town of Toledo located in the region of La Mancha. A place full of culture ‘nd other historical stuff. That’s when I started taking pictures. Well to be more specific it was in a rest stop just outside of Toledo. And that’s where things start. I’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking. There are around 140 pictures, but I’ve included a fun description for each. Starts out a little boring, but then I got bored of describing stuff so I go off on tangents. Hope you enjoy. This is only day one, so look forward to future installments. And they won’t be as large as this one =P
