Messin’ around

Had a math test a while ago, finished it rather quickly, so I left the class afterwards. Think I did OK on it, but like all math tests I take, not 100% sure. I’ve got an hour until my last class of the day, so I thought I’d come ass around in the library until then.

There isn’t a whole lot to do out here at Sandhills when you aren’t in class. Wish I had a laptop so I could play Maple Story or something. <.<;; If I had more time on my hands, I’d go get the guitar and just mess around with it in Wellard hall. I’m slacking in my guitar practice a bit, gonna have to remedy that. D: My biggest problem is remembering what notes are what and where I need to play them on the fretboard. I’m doing alright in it though for the most part. =o I’m hoping if I get good enough maybe I can dabble a bit in composing. Already found two guitars I wanna add to my musical arsenal too.

Dean ML79 with Floyd Rose bridge
Taylor 110 acoustic

I guess it would be more practical to wait until I can prove I’ll stick with the guitar before I go off and just buy this stuff…..but God, it’s so compelling…..especially the Dean……

MUST……HAVE…… -twitch- D;

Right then, I’ll spare you the musical fantasies for now and be on my way to sociology. G’day mates! ;3

    The Dean is pretty nice. I play too, but on a cheaper end model Washburn Lyon. It has nice sound and good fretting, but it’s bad for shredding and chords.

    Yey for surfing on library computers O= ‘nd this post almost makes me wish I brought my guitar. Almost. I’m like supremely rusty. Haven’t played in almost a year <<;

    @Rob: Ahh, nice. How long have you been playing? =O I play a red Eastwood by Oscar Schmidt, which is also another Washburn brand. Kinda resembles a Fender Stratocaster. Washburn players unite! \m/

    @Carlo: Yus! Library comps rule speed-wise! And you shoulda brought your axe with you! >=O We coulda jammed out man! ;X

    Me and my family went on vacation to Charleston, SC a few weekends ago and I found a relatively inexpensive flying V guitar down there…so I bought it. =D Now I just need an amp that works. D; Only thing I dislike about it is that it has a tendency to nose-dive when I wear it. Little tricky to get used to, but I’m starting to get the hang of it. I’ll have to post a pic sometime. =)

    I’ve been playing for about 15 months. I can do the opening to Metallica’s “Fade to Black” nigh on perfect imo ;o

    Mine resembles a strat too – classic body shape, black finish with white pick guard. Small 15 watt amp and distortion pedal, both by Washburn. Good products, but I’m looking for a bigger amp. I need the noise to pull off some stuff :P

    Awesome! I can play the first little tidbit of the opening solo in Fade to Black.

    Can’t go wrong with a Marshall amp. Every time I’ve played on one, they never let me down. =P I’m kinda curious to check out Krank amps too, but they’re a bit on the expensive side. D’:
